This guide explains the key specifications of hotel bed linen and lists the actual specifications of ISTABRAQ linen so you can choose what fits your hotel.

1. Cotton and polyester blend

• 50% cotton / 50% polyester: the most durable for frequent industrial laundering, wrinkles less and dries faster.
• 60% cotton / 40% polyester: a strong balance of cotton softness and polyester strength, the most common choice in hotels.
• 80% cotton / 20% polyester: a softer feel closer to pure cotton, with good durability, for hotels that want a more luxurious touch.

2. Thread count

Thread count is the number of threads per square inch. 250 TC gives a firm, practical fabric for daily use, while 300 TC gives a softer, denser feel suited to higher hotel categories.

3. Design: plain or striped

• Plain white: classic, clean and easy to bleach and match.
• 1 cm stripe: fine stripes for a subtle premium look.
• 3 cm stripe: wider stripes with a stronger presence on the bed, and better at hiding signs of use.
